Custom Zines for Moments Worth Remembering

I create custom mini magazines (zines) that turn meaningful moments, events, and personal stories into artifacts you can keep.

Each custom zine is shaped from real material: conversations, reflections, fragments, memories. They’re formed into a physical keepsake that holds what might otherwise be forgotten.

What I Create

I work with individuals, couples, and groups to create custom zines that document and preserve meaningful experiences.

This can include:

  • personal or family stories
  • couples’ memories or milestones and journeys
  • retreats and workshops
  • community and group gatherings
  • creative or reflective projects
  • moments that feel important but difficult to define

Each zine is different because each moment is different.

How It Works

This is a collaborative process

You share your moment(s)

You tell me what you want to capture. It might be an event, a story, a journey, an adventure, or a period of time.

You don’t need to shape it into anything polished. Clarity is not required at the start.

I gather material

Depending on the project, this can include prompts, conversations, written reflections, digital photographs, or other existing materials.

I listen for what matters underneath what is being said.

I look for the emotional thread running through the material and begin structuring it into a zine form.

This is where the story takes shape.

I design your zine

I design and assemble the final piece as an archive that reflects the tone, texture, and feeling of what was shared.

The result is something you can hold, return to, and keep.

Format

I call these mini magazines, but the physical format will not be exactly like a magazine. The pages will be a little thicker, and you’ll have a choice between a glossy and a matte finish. Also, being a zine, it will feel more like a keepsake than a traditional, commercial magazine.

Size

Most of the custom zines I create are size A5, which is approximately 5.83 x 8.27 inches when closed (to give you an idea, if you turn a standard sheet landscape and fold it in half vertically, that is size A5). Occasionally, I make zines of other sizes if it is more appropriate for the project. We will discuss and agree upon the sizing details before I start creating the zine.

Paper

All zines are printed on higher-weight quality paper than standard thin printing paper.

Draft version

You will receive a digital draft version of your zine before it is finalized and sent.

Delivery

I’m based in London, UK. I ship domestically and internationally.

Timeline

The average custom zine takes about a month from the day of ordering to delivery, but this time estimate varies based on several factors (the time it takes for you to provide information, digital photographs, my workload,  etc).

What It’s Like to Work With Me

This is a collaborative process, but not a complicated one.

You will need to provide material as requested within 3 business days of the request (unless you have a genuine emergency). If you’re not willing/able to respond to requests for information or images, this service is not for you.

I respond to emails within 3 business days maximum (and ask you to do the same).

I will follow your guidance for the overall feel and vibe of the zine. I also use my own intuition and gut feeling to shape the direction of the zine. This is what makes my work special and different. I have a deep intuitive sense for creative direction and follow it as I feel appropriate (with your approval, of course)

Cost

Each zine is shaped around the moment it’s capturing, so pricing varies depending on scope, length, and format.

Custom zines typically start from £350 for smaller personal projects, and increase for larger multi-story or event-based work.

Final pricing depends on:

  • size and number of pages
  • quantity
  • level of customisation
  • print requirements

After you share your idea, I’ll be in touch and will let you know what your zine could look like and provide a clear quote and timeline.
